ANNUAL PERFORMANCES

The choir is always excited to see what each new year brings as we continue to host annual events and regularly participate in various outreach projects.

Memorial Day and Veteran’s Day: During these annual services, the Madrigals perform to honor these holidays and pay tribute to those who have served.

 

May Day Wine Pour: The Davis Madrigals celebrate Springtime with a Maypole dance and a festive performance.

​

The Madrigal Dinner: This holiday feast, established in 1968, is one of the Davis community's longest-running and best-loved musical traditions.

​

Davis Tree Lighting: This annual event marks the beginning of the holiday season for the City of Davis. All are welcome on the E Street Plaza to hear the Madrigals and other local performance groups make merry music.

​

St. Paul's Lutheran Church: To celebrate the winter holidays we are invited to perform at St. Paul's church in Woodland and join them in singing classic carols.

 

Handel's Messiah: Every other year, all three Davis Senior High School choirs in collaboration with the Baroque Ensemble, perform excerpts of Handel's Messiah.

Choral Workshops: Offered for all students K-6 in Yolo and Sacramento Counties.
 

Pops Concert: Annual high school performance that stars every Davis High School choir.

Along with these annual events, we also perform at Shriners Hospital, UCD Cancer Center, UCD Med Center, University Retirement Home, University Covenant Gardens, Courtyard Healthcare, Sierra Healthcare and more locations in the Davis area.
