The Madrigals are visiting New York City in 2020, all during the big Fashion Week! We will be staying in the heart of Times Square, and our trip includes two Broadway shows, a Metropolitan Opera performance, several workshops, college campus visits, and backstage theater tours! We're excited to explore all the city has to offer!

Judith Clurman
Emmy and Grammy nominated conductor, educator, and choral specialist. Driven by a passion for vocal music
Repetoire from the classical canon to the American Songbook, musical theater and contemporary compositions
Ms. Clurman is familiar to television audiences for her national broadcasts on NBC and PBS with "Music of the Spirit"
Associate music director of Sesame Street (Season 39). Her work with the Muppets earned her a 2009 Emmy Nomination for Outstanding Achievement in Music Direction and Composition
Member of the faculty of the Manhattan School of Music
Served as Director of Choral Activities at The Juilliard School from 1989-2007
Co-Director for Harvard University's "Leonard Bernstein: Boston to Broadway" Festival
Faculty member and vocal specialist for the National Endowment for the Arts/Columbia University Institute of Classical Music
Eugene Sirotkine
Assistant conductor and chorus master with The New York Metropolitan Opera from 1999 until 2008.
Since 2008, he is on contract with the Metropolitan Opera for 30 weeks a year
St. Petersburg- born conductor who debuted with the Latvian Philharmonic in St. Petersburg in 1989
He is now in his 19th year as a conductor and musical director of the Hudson Valley Singers
